Our story
It all started when our family got to know a precious region in the northeast of the state of Minas Gerais.
THE JEQUITINHONHA VALLEY .
We saw a great potential for developing the vocation of diversity and natural wealth of the place.
It was there that we also met the Jataí bee, which by the way is very well adapted to the region. This is how the idea of producing a differentiated honey was developed, as a supplementary source of income for family farmers.
We saw great potential for development the vocation of diversity and natural richness of the place.
In 2016, we started the "Jataí do Vale" project, which aims to train the "Jataí" bees (Tetragonisca angustula) and honey production, as well as all the support to develop in this activity and make it sustainable and profitable.
The project has been implemented gradually. Meliponiculture (breeding of stingless bees) has been developing slowly, mainly on a commercial level. That is why it is of paramount importance that all areas of activity work together for development.
It was there that we also met the Jataí bee, by the way very well adapted to the region.
So the idea of producing a differentiated honey was developed, as a source of complementary income for family farmers.

Koah comes from the Hebrew (כֹּחַ) and means: power, strength, skill, skill.
The basic meaning of the word denotes the vital force of life, which is expressed in:
the power of procreation
the numerical strength of a tribe
the productivity of the field
the nutritional power of food
the physical strength of animals and humans.
Often the mental/spiritual is also involved.
Sometimes the ability and aptitude to do something is at the forefront of meaning.
A person's strength can be found in his wealth, and a people's in economic and military possibilities.
However, this power is of no use without God's help. Recognizing this should keep you from being excessive in your strengths, but rather encourages you to look to God for help.
In relation to God, koah denotes divine omnipotence. His strength is evident in the works of creation and his intervention "with great might and an outstretched arm" in Israel's history. It is sung in hymns and is a comfort in times of weakness.
With your power, you put the mountains in place, thus showing your mighty strength. -Psalm 65:6
