Aroeira
THIS SUPERFLOWER PROMISES:
THE ABSOLUTE GASTROINTESTINAL FRIEND AND MORE!
A study and in-vitro tests (FUNED) showed the bactericidal effect, particularly in the case of gastrointestinal complaints such as against Helicobacter pylori bacteria as the main cause of gastritis.
Anti-inflammatory
The Bioactive Constituents Studies focused on using bioactive constituents to prevent or treat neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease, presented through in vitro and in vivo models.
Bioactive components:
Again and again, our analyzes prove the constantly high content of polyphenols and flavonoids. This is particularly the case with the Aroeira, since the flowers of this plant, to protect themselves against the heat of the dry season, increasingly conduct this substance to the flowers, which is why they are also reddish in color. The bees pollinate these flowers and collect the valuable material which is then transferred into our honey.
On average, a 240g jar of Aroeira contains honey
451.2 mg polyphenols!
EXPLANATION OF THE MAIN INGREDIENTS
Polyphenols:
Are health-promoting and act in the human body like antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and cancer preventive. They are chemical compounds from the group of phenols and occur as bioactive substances in plants. Due to their pharmacological properties, they are also used as medicinal substances .
Flavonoids:
Protect body cells from free radicals and slow down cell oxidation (aging processes). They reduce the fat deposits (plaques) in the blood vessels and thus prevent arteriosclerosis .

OUR HONEY TYPES COMPARED TO MANUKA HONEY (STUDY)
We wanted to know and we dared. Our types of honey have been analyzed in more detail and also directly with the already recognized Manuka honey New Zealand compared directly. We are working on obtaining official and pharmaceutical recognition in order to provide even more direct information about the special properties and effects of our treasures. You can see the study here (Public).
"This study was carried out with the aim of determining the antioxidant properties and the quantification of total phenols and flavonoids in relation to quercetin and rutin in some of the monofloral honeys produced in Minas Gerais (Brazil).
With regard to the evaluation of the antioxidant effect, the Aoreia honey in particular has shown promising results."
Key benefits in brief:
Proven by studies and tests.
