The local organizations and partners (Coopemapi, MELBRAS and Codevasf) donate seedlings to farmers as part of the fair trade project.
Training courses for further education in nature conservation and organic farming are offered to family farmers and beekeepers. Topics such as social coexistence, good practices and other measures that allow improving the quality of life in the locations where they operate are also traded.
By participating, they receive the seedlings with the aim of improving the environmental quality in the region. This year, for example, the project distributed seedlings of native forest species for planting in degraded areas and to protect springs and watercourses.
