The Aroeira tree (Myracrodruon urundeuva) is native to the Jequitinhonha Valley, in the state of Minas Gerais. It blooms during the long dry season, enabling the survival of the busy bees that enrich our diet with this outstanding, great-tasting honey.
A study and in-vitro tests (the FUNED) showed the bactericidal effect, especially for stomach and intestinal complaints such as against H. pyloris, bacteria as the main cause of gastritis.
More information and access to studies, evidence and also a comparison with Manukah honey, you can find here.

- Our packaging is designed in such a way that the honey is already largely protected from light. This avoids photooxidation and thus protects the honey's valuable enzymes.
- You're welcome cool or store at room temperature between 18 and 23 degrees Celsius.
- Crystallization is a natural process which sooner or later takes place with all untreated honey.
- To preserve the valuable ingredients, please do not heat or add to hot drinks.
- This is a single-variety, unmixed, unpasteurized or heavily filtered honey. The priority is to preserve the natural active ingredients.
